Milkor, a leading name in defense technology, is making a significant impact at the Asia Defense and Security (ADAS) 2024 exhibition in Manila, where the company is showcasing its advanced capabilities across air, land, and sea. The company introduced its latest lineup of land vehicles at African Aerospace and Defence last week, generating significant interest among potential customers.
Among the highlights is the Milkor Vanguard MRAP, a robust 16-ton vehicle designed for high-intensity combat in various operational settings. It offers exceptional protection and durability, meeting NATO STANAG 4A and 4B standards, and safeguarding occupants from 10 kg landmines. With Level 3 ballistic protection, it ensures the safety of either 2+8 or 2+10 crew members, depending on the configuration.
Milkor has also expanded its range with the addition of the Milkor BushCat APC. This 12-ton vehicle, based on the proven Milkor 4×4 platform, accommodates 2+8 crew members and provides STANAG 2 ballistic protection. It strikes an effective balance between high-level safety and operational efficiency, making it a cost-effective choice for police and military use.
At ADAS 2024, Milkor is featuring scaled models of the new Vanguard MRAP and the Milkor Commander, along with an array of grenade launchers including the Milkor 40mm SuperSix Multi-Range Grenade Launcher (MRGL), the single-shot Stopper Convertible, the Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UGBL), and the innovative Multiple Anti-Riot (MAR) Less-Lethal launcher.
And of course, the company is showcasing a scaled model of the Milkor 380 Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle. With an impressive wingspan of 18.6 meters and a maximum take-off weight of 1,300 kg, the Milkor 380 can carry a payload of 535 kg including fuel over a range exceeding 4,000 km. It boasts a service ceiling of 30,000 feet and an endurance of up to 35 hours.
The exhibition runs from 25 to 27 September at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, where Milkor can be found at booth 1330.
