Saab’s Future Operator Workspace, unveiled at DSEI 2023 in London, is set to revolutionise naval warfare in air, surface, and sub-surface domains.

This innovative platform redefines human-machine interaction and battlespace management, setting new standards for critical system management and Command & Control (C2) in all-operational scenarios.

The Future Operator Workspace console seamlessly integrates with the 9LV Combat Management System (CMS), excelling in Anti-Access/Area Denial (AA/AD), protection, escort, maritime patrol, border control, peacekeeping, anti-piracy, search and rescue, and environmental control missions. This versatile 9LV CMS empowers command teams with advanced operational capabilities, supporting naval missions at various conflict levels.

The Future Operator Workspace’s custom software streamlines tactical and operational data presentation, reducing cognitive load and fatigue to enable swift decision-making. Emphasising human-centred design and ergonomic sophistication, the ‘FOW’ ensures readiness in even the most challenging situations.

Saab’s five-decade legacy in combat system hardware and software attests to their dedication to innovation and excellence in the defence industry. The 9LV CMS is currently utilised by the Royal Thai Navy and ensures naval superiority and optimal performance, offering a comprehensive solution for maritime missions, training, recording, and debriefing. This solidifies Saab’s leadership in naval technology.
