MKU, a global defence and homeland security company with a strong track record in empowering armed forces worldwide, reaffirms its commitment to the Philippines by participating in the 5th edition of Asian Defense and Security (ADAS) Exhibition and Conference 2024.

As the Philippines celebrates a decade of hosting ADAS, this year’s event, themed “Building on a Decade of Defense Capability,” will be its largest yet, with MKU set to highlight its world-class solutions to support the nation’s commitment toward its armed forces.

MKU has been a consistent partner in equipping the Philippines’ defence agencies. The nation’s Armed Forces Modernization Program, with a projected budget exceeding US$40 billion over 15 years, has allowed MKU to supply cutting-edge defence solutions like night vision devices, body armours, ballistic helmets and ballistic shields to the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, and other security agencies.

Neeraj Gupta, Managing Director of MKU, emphasized the importance of the Philippines as a strategic partner: “The Philippines plays a vital role in our global footprint, and we are proud to support their efforts toward their defence forces. Our relationship with the country extends over several years, and we remain committed to providing advanced solutions that enhance national security.”

At ADAS 2024, MKU will engage with key stakeholders at their booth, demonstrating its cutting-edge night vision devices, thermal imaging technologies, body armours, ballistic helmets, ballistic shields and other defence solutions. They will also showcase the protection gear supplied to the Philippines Army and the Philippines Police over the years. As MKU continues to invest in research and development, the company is poised to deliver new innovations tailored to meet the evolving challenges faced by the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

With the Philippines ranking 34 out of 145 countries in the Global Firepower Military Strength Ranking 2024, the need for advanced defence capabilities is paramount. MKU, having already made significant contributions, will further explore avenues to deliver innovative technologies that enhance operational capabilities, ensuring the safety and success of soldiers in mission-critical scenarios.
