EID´s tailored command and control communication systems are operational with Armed Forces across Asia. With currently over 50 vessels in five Navies across South-East Asia operating their systems, EID, the Portuguese defence communications company, will be at the Defence Services Asia (DSA), in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing its advanced land and Naval defence communication solutions.
EID designs, produces and supplies technologically advanced, innovative, reliable and secure solutions for communication and information systems. Thanks to its modular and flexible design, the systems can be tailored to a variety of operational scenarios according to military and battlefield demands. EID’s systems, developed for land and naval operations, are comprised of the OceaNEX, TerraNEX, M2NEX and EIDNEX product families. Fully developed by EID, they are an integrated set of solutions allowing clients to overcome different defence and security challenges, while maintaining cybersecurity.

- OceaNEX – the range of military naval communications solutions: The product range OceaNEX allows Navalships to gather and disseminate voice, data and video information to improve operational outcomes. The system incorporates the maritime technologies developed by EID and incorporated in their Integrated Communications Controls System (ICCS), the core of a complete ICS, helping to create a balanced, integrated, secure, internal and external communications system.
- TerraNEX – advanced military communications land solutions: The TerraNEX, integrates the Soldier System, project that was developed with the Portuguese Army, as well as the scalable and cross-functional Vehicle Intercommunication System, allowing high quality and safe communication, irrespective of the soldiers means of transports, either by foot or by vehicle.
- While the M2NEX and EIDNEX – showcases EID’s unique expertise in the field of military messaging offering a set of multidisciplinary capabilities that include the design, supply, deployment and training provisions for the communications systems developed for tactical and strategic environments.
