The Almaz-Antey Corporation is taking part in the AERO INDIA 2017 International Air Show in Bangalore from 14 to 18 February 2017.
Seven of the corporation’s subsidiaries, namely Almaz, Kupol, UMZ, VNIIRA, Granit, Strela and Radiofizika, will display their products at Almaz-Antey’s united stand.
In addition to the world-famous long-, medium- and short-range surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems and ship-based SAM systems, the corporation will exhibit advanced automated control systems, REDIKOM mobile diagnostic/repair facility and airspace and ground surveillance radars and radar systems.
Commercial products are represented by those from VNIIRA JSC, an air traffic management system manufacturer.
“At the AERO INDIA 2017 show, the Almaz-Antey Corporation as Russia’s major air defence materiel manufacturer providing the development-to-disposal life cycle has placed the emphasis on upgrading and repairing its military products widespread in Southeast Asia. For instance, Kupol JSC will unveil a program on upgrading the Osa-AKM SAM system to Osa-AKM1 standard, and UMZ JSC a program on upgrading the Tunguska SAM/AAA system to Tunguska-M1 standard and the Shilka self-propelled antiaircraft gun to Shilka-M4 standard,” Deputy Director General for Foreign Trade Vyacheslav Dzirkaln said.
V. Dzirkaln emphasized that the corporation was entitled to train foreign personnel in carrying out the above works.
